A little bit about us
Eternal Rags are a 5 piece Austrian Alternative Rock, Blues, Folk Band based in Wattens (Innsbruck). The band formed in 2015 from a collection of sociable concert lovers who met in a pub which one of the band members owned and who all just couldn’t get enough music.
Their unique brand of entertainment fuses rumbling percussion drum grooves and lively distorted guitar lines. Their concerts live from interaction with the crowd and surprising instrument changes that will make you want to have a great time, jumping and dancing in good company.
We have already performed several shows in Austria, Germany and Italy.
We just released our debut album which is produced in our rehearsal room with our fellow friend and audio engineer Patrick Hacksteiner.
The “OBRNR“, which is the title of the album, is the short version of the name of a house called „Obernauer“.
The album is an homage to that old and demolished house. Over the last years we as a band spent most of our time there creating music, making memories and having a good time.
On the album are songs about socially critical topics, simple daily stuff and of course about love.
